Although not stated in the novel, I feel there’s a connection between Lina and Doon that has not yet been discovered.Įarth today has many environmental and social issues. They both try a hand at magic and risk virtually everything to find an exit out of their self-suppressive city. Lina has the ‘want to’ to get things done, and Doon has the knowledge to arrange it.
